Our Story

Welcome to Turkey River Mall, where we bring history to life through a captivating blend of old, new, and gently used treasures. Our journey began with the vision of owner Becky Dietzler, who saw potential in the historic hotel building nestled in the heart of Elkader, IA. Little did she know that this building would evolve into a hub of nostalgia and creativity, known as Turkey River Mall.

As the proud custodians of the original 1897 hotel building, we embarked on a transformational journey. What started as a plan to convert the space into an office soon blossomed into something much more remarkable. Drawing inspiration from the building's rich history, we decided to honor its legacy by breathing new life into its rooms. Thus, the concept of vendor stalls emerged, each with its own distinctive character and charm.

Our passion lies in offering a curated selection of diverse products from our 60 dedicated vendors.
